Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is a crucial component of a university’s institutional framework, primarily responsible for ensuring and enhancing the quality and standards of higher education. IQAC plays a vital role in promoting a culture of quality in the university. The primary role of the University IQAC is to develop and implement a robust system for quality assurance within the institution. It works towards creating an environment of continuous improvement in various aspects of the university’s functions, including teaching, research, infrastructure, and administration. IQAC often plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the university complies with national and international accreditation standards. It helps in preparing the university for accreditation processes and continuous monitoring to meet the criteria set by accrediting bodies. IQAC often organizes workshops, seminars, and training programs for faculty and staff to improve their teaching and administrative skills. This contributes to the overall quality of education and services.
